August has ended with a wet day, as much of the month has been. I am now very much hoping that we will get some late summer sunshine during September before the leaves on the tree turn brown and the country begins to look autumnal. Whatever the weather, I hope September brings you joy.
Here are the ten books which I hope to read this month.
The Book of Beginnings by Sally Page
The Garden of Evening Mists by Tan Twan Eng
Bagels & Bacon: The Post War East End by Jeff Rozelaar
The Stars Did Wander Darkling by Colin Meloy
Alex Rider: Nightshade Revenge by Anthony Horowitz
Mermedusa by Thomas Taylor
The Pit by Peter Papathanasiou
The Old Haunts by Allan Radcliffe
Beneath the Surface by Fiona Neill
The Figurine by Victoria Hislop
