Hello October. You have come around very quickly!
During October we see the clocks go back, Halloween, and the 9th is Seed Gathering Sunday. Designated by the Tree Council, it is a day to collect seeds for tree planting in the future.
It is definitely time to cosy up with some good reading material and here are ten books which I would like to read this month.
Breaking Free by Jan Rothney
The Subversive Stitch by Rozsika Parker
10 Minutes 38 Seconds in This Strange World by Elif Shafak
Alice's Book by Karina Urbach
Winter in Thrush Green by Miss Read
The Likes of Us by Michael Collins
The Maid's of Biddenden by G.D. Harper
Mr Peacock's Possessions by Lydia Syson
The Patron Saints of Lost Souls by Meena van Praag
The Cat Who Caught a Killer by L.T. Shearer
